Did anyone have a dream?
Last night was another zombie dream for me. They're always really gory and then I'm scared to go to the toilet when I wake up haha.

I don't remember dreaming at all last night. I very rarely remember, of course I DO dream, but, I think most of the time you only remember when you get the chance to wake up naturally, rather than if you have an alarm on. That's how it seems for me.
On the rare occasions that I do, they're usually quite bizarre, or just a surreal version of a normal day / life, so, people I know or places I know, but odd settings, or something warped about what would go, or, even down to something like, I am in a supermarket or a building that I know, but everything is in a different place, or people that would never be there are there.
If I do have any, I'll post them up.
It's an interesting subject though, another one that blags my head a little bit. I get some of the explanations, that it's your brain trying to make sense of the day / current time, but then sometimes, I just think it's because brains are insane, and they chuck in curveballs from time to time, just to see what happens.

I have loads of places that I've made up in my head that I go to a lot in my dream. There's this really fucked up train station where all the platforms are tiny winding paths and you never know if you're going to die boarding. But I have loads all over the world. Does anyone else have this? Also I have never dreamt about any of the houses I've lived in apart from the house I was in aged 4-12ish. If I'm at home in my dream, I'm at this house.

Was that your favourite house so far? Felt most safe / comfortable? I used to be able to carry on my dreams, like a TV series.. when I was a load younger. I could just imagine where I left off the night before when I was going to sleep, and carry it on. Can't do it now though unfortunately. I did used to do a lot of experiments with sleep / lack of it when I was younger though. Never had 'normal' sleep patterns.

Last night I dreamt that all the colours in the world were disappearing and everyting started looking really miserable and gross. Yellow was the last one to go and I looked out over the horizon and I could see MacDonalds signs shining out all over the place.

I once had a dream that a lighbulb was chasing me through the desert, proper burning weather too but then I seemed to acquire a shotgun and kill. Was proper mental flashing on and off all time hopping. Oh that was years ago by the way

Apparently seeing a lightbulb in your dream means your ready to face your problems. Ha

MacDonalds signs, powered by their burgers that won't even rot away.

I had a dream when I was about 7 or 8. It was of being in a car with some of my family, I was only a baby, and it was my mum's ex husband who was driving. I could vaguely picture a long main-ish kind of road with a railway track running down the side of it all the way. He was changing the music on the tape player, but dropped the tape, so he was reaching down to get it, and drove the car straight down the embankment, the car began to roll and ended up upside down on the railway track. Emergency services managed to get the car off the track about 30 seconds before a train went past!
I told my mum about it the next morning, because, obviously as a kid that age, it shook me up loads, and she told me that it actually happened. I guess that's my first memory of being about 6 months old, upside down on a train track. Crazy what gets stored in your brain though, I'd obviously blanked it out because it was a horrible experience, and my brain decided to just chuck it back out there a few years later.

I can kinda now aye, after my mum said that it was what happened. I was sat on my mum's knee at the time. Because I'd managed to explain it how I dreamt it, that's kinda stuck with me. Odd with a lot of dreams how the more you try and remember them, the more they fade off, unless you remember it immediately.
