Thought I'd just narrow it down to the 2 big players, and have all the other makes as 'other', just to see how it's split between the three camps.
I'll never get an iPhone, I don't like Apple products at all, especially their exclusivity, everything seems less flexible with them. Samsung Galaxy for me, and will probably stick with variations of that phone until death now. Android >> iOS.
If you click 'Other', tell us what it is and how well it fairs.

LG G2. 16mp camera. Like a Samsung to navigate. Love it.

Briefly read another article about the latest Canon DSLR camera that's come out, that's taken 5 years to make, and it still doesn't have all the functions as a normal point and click or phone camera. Mental ain't it.
LGs are Android as well aren't they. Definitely far superior.

Mr42 they don't have the proper manual options like a dslr. Loads of apps out now though where you fake the depth of field and things like that afterwards! Yeah still an android. Like it better than others.

I have an iPhone. It's a knob.
Had a 4s for about 2 & half years, and now I have a sim-only contract I can't upgrade it so I'm stuck with it. I am only paying £9 a month on it though :-D
If I was entitled to an upgrade I would definitely 'upgrade' to a Samsung or LG. But hey-ho. It's only a phone.

£9 a month for an iPhone is fair good, will let you off. Haha.. It IS only a phone, but considering they are only phones, it's pretty bloody clever innit. Still baffles my brain how it works... Mind you, I STILL can't totally get my head around vinyl, and tape even! I know the process, but it still doesn't mean I understand how doing that process actually makes the noise you want it to when you play it back. It's crazy.

Yeah they're insane. I just don't think about how they work anymore, it hurts my brain computer. Micro-electronics just blaggs me totally. Yeeaah, the record thing is pretty straight forward in theory, but I know what you mean though. One thing that gets me, and I've chatted to si about this a few times.. Sound is a vibration. Imagine one constant tone being played from whatever source; vinyl, tape, cd, whatever, put it though an amp then a speaker, the speaker will vibrate the same speed as the tone/pitch you put through it. Simple. Ish. BUT, what about a song, with multiple layered pitches played through one single speaker. How do the other tones/pitched get pronounced? Because surely this would make the speaker vibrate at a few different speeds. (I hope I'm explaining myself well enough for you to know what I mean.. ) I know using crossovers eliminates this to some degree, as you can tell certain frequencies to go to certain speakers but you've still got multiple tones coming from the same single speaker.

Soz, gone slightly off-topic! haha Off topic and tangents are all cool. Am sure it'll come back round to the subject. Yeah, see I've never understood it. I just don't get, say, on vinyl, how, yeah, the needle 'reads' the grooves, but how does it convert that to a grind band blasting and screaming and trem picking, or a jazz band grooving and schmoozing and wibblywowing. I'm gonna have to have a lay down.

Yeah. Like from a single point if contact as well.. If there were a needle for each frequency fair enough, but that'd be insane. Haha. Turntables would be the size of a bus.
In fact, it's understandable with pitches & frequencies, but what about tones?? Aagghh
Shall we just leave it for the clever folk..?

Shall we just leave it for the clever folk..? You seen this.. Joe Rogan talking about the devolution of stupid people, if all the smart people died, we'd all be fucked! One of the best sections of comedy. sellotapethecat

Turntables would be the size of a bus. Haha, ace! Would be so much better if there were loads of massive turntables playing heavy music on the roads instead of buses.

Switched from a Samsung Galaxy to an iPhone fairly recently, mainly because I was offered a good deal on it and I already have a Hudl tablet which is Android based so wanted something different, also the Galaxy played up a lot after a while so I'm kinda hoping the iPhone will at least last the duration of my contract. Much prefer the Android operating system to iOS though, far less restrictive, plus I'm quite into retro games and can run emulators on Android which you can't really do on an iPhone or iPad.

Thought I'd just narrow it down to the 2 big players, and have all the other makes as 'other', just to see how it's split between the three camps. Just because the general belief is that most people have either iPhone or Samsung, so wanted to see if their dominance was as much as it's reported, plus thought it would be simpler rather than listing a massive list and only getting a few in each make. Am surprised I'm the only Samsung user so far actually. Interesting to see how this goes, the busier this place gets.

I went from a Samsung Galaxy to an HTC One. I love my HTC and it has never been in a toilet.
