I'd say my main ones are Salvador Dali, Zdzislaw Beksinski, M. C. Escher, Edward Gorey, plus got to give shouts out to some friends as well; Steve Myles, Luke Oram, T Bare McClough, but I still have a lot of investigating to do to make this a comprehensive list. Any recommendations for surreal, intense, dark, weird, intelligent art are welcome.

Polish artist Pawel Kuczynski has worked in satirical illustration since 2004, specializing in thought-provoking images that make his audience question their everyday lives. Do like a load of these actually, I should get them pinned up.

Dali and Magritte were the first artists I really got into, and that was about it until i got to college. Then, due to the pieces i was making, the likes of Gerhard Richter, Jasper Johns and Mark Rothko really interested me, as well as Kandinsky, Turner and Whistler, as they all used colour and tones so differently, yet they al grab your attention when you see them. In recent years it has been the more twisted side of things like Francis Bacon and the Chapman Brothers. But each exhibition i see and each new project I start I find new artists all the time through research and development of ideas. Am working on some light painting ideas at the moment so people such as Brian Matthew Hart and Jason D Page are current favourites.
