Cheers for your heads up about it angryanduninformed It's dead good. It sounds like At The Gates, which is great, but it sounds different enough for it to be worth them doing it. He's still got a ravaging voice, and the riffs are cracking. Got a darker sound than their last one and is a bit slower, but it's good to hear them back. It's better than the Carcass return I'd say. Be interesting to see how this fits in on a full album. I do love all their albums. I would hazard a guess this will be one of the most listened to things on the internet today, this and the new Aphex Twin album.

It's ok, I don't think it's anything outstanding.

With fear I kiss the burning darkness. The red in the sky is our. Terminal spirit disease Slaughter of the soul all bloody awesome. The first two sound completely different, more gloomy weird with strings and harrowing stuff, amazing things.
This blew my brain a fair bit when I first heard it at the time...
and this is an AWESOME song, from the 1992 album.

Agreed, they've got one hell of a back catalogue, I remember being blown away hearing Slaughter Of The Soul for the first time and The Red In The Sky Is Ours in particular is something that sounds like nothing else I've heard before or since. Definitely looking forward to the new album, loads of albums I want coming out over the next few months it seems.
