Which albums have you devoured that much that you know every single part, every twist, turn, riff, beat and vocal? Mine would be... (I'll probably think of more) Gorgoroth - Pentagram (right down to the one 'mistake' made on the last return of the drum beat in the last song that still sounds awesome) Death - Leprosy (listening to it now, that's what made me think of this topic) Carcass - Necroticism Descanting the Insalubrious (every little drum tinkle, every lyrics, every riff) Deicide - Legion (best death metal ever written for me) Emperor - In the nightside eclipse Metallica - ...and justice for all Megadeth - Rust in peace Primus - Sailing the seas of cheese Necrophagist - Onset of putrefaction Sky - Sky 2 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sky_2_(album)(possibly the first album I ever heard) That gives me the idea for another topic.....

Ooh, yeah, Mayhem 'De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas' is a good one, but, do you know all the lyrics? Some of them I know, but haven't got them all down, silly Attila. Thought of another one, might interest markusSilver Bullet - Bring down the walls, no limit squad returns. Best rap album ever made for me. I can't rap for shit, but I can at least mime all the words to this album, and there's a bloody lot!

Actually, no, I don't really listen to the lyrics that often to be honest. My brain is just focused on the tunage.. Can probably scrap a couple of them then.

Interesting you put 'Hvis Lyset Tar Oss'.. first song, the masterpiece 'Det som engang var'.. yeah, I learned all the words to that as well, in Norwegian! Haha.
Don't do it with more recent stuff, since I don't buy CDs or vinyl. Kinda wish I had that sort of time again. I still love discovering new things and listening to them to death if I can, but, yeah, it'll never be quite the same.
