Weirdly enough though, I only got into his stuff a few years back. Heard the name, never really twigged about him being in Bill & Ted's, always used to love Bill Hicks and a bunch of others influenced by him, but only properly watched more recently. Have now pretty much worked my way through most of his back catalogue of stuff, stand up, a load of interviews, some of the audio books.
Complete and utter genius, told it like it was, and still is for the most part. A nice mix of every day observations and views on the world and the mess it's in and been in for a long while, and how little we can about it, mostly!
So many of the full DVDs / HBO performances are on Youtube, it's awesome.
I think 'You are all diseased' is my favourite. This one doesn't fuck about, and gets straight on with the hatred from the first line. Completely on fire during the whole thing.
