This thread is inspired by reading this article... www.technologyreview.com/featuredstory/520446/the-decline-of-wikipedia/It's a lengthy but brilliantly written piece (from a year ago), that lets you in on the world of Wikipedia a little more than you may have previously realised you'd want to know. We all use Wikipedia, and if you don't, you should, whether it's 100% fact or not, it's incredible to read from, and, because a lot of the info on it has to be substantiated with links, resources and bibliographies, it's probably about as close as we may be able to get to a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of everything around us. Unfortunately it's not as fully populated with articles on everything, as much as it should be, and the article above tells why. It'll be interesting to see what people think if they read the article.

Do you contribute to Wikipedia? I really like it as a concept and can absolutely see it's value but in truth, I don't feel expert enough in anything to write for it.

I'd like to, I did do a couple of times many years ago but the coding was a total head blag, it made no sense at all... apparently it's better, with the WYSIWIG capabilities. It would be good to get more of the smaller bands on there.
