This is absolutely gutting news. One of the most vital TV series ever made I think. Utter fools!
A Channel 4 spokesperson told Den of Geek,
This makes absolutely no sense, if the channel loved it, and they're only going to be putting on other dramas to replace it, and the writer had at least two more series planned, why axe it?! Apparently the ratings went down a bit for series 2, but, this program is gathering steam and following, they're utterly insane to do this.
Does this just mean Channel 4 won't show it, and it's up for grabs with someone else, or does it mean it's over and they can't make any more? Not sure how it works (if someone more knowledgeable can fill me in on this)... either way, the best TV series I've ever seen has been killed, unfinished.

I guess one way around it is for it to be made for someone else, and be called something else, but it essentially be the continuation of it. I dunno, either way, it's GOT to be made!
