...and CamelCase is an example of it. It's where compound words or phrases are put together, but the individual parts are still capitalised. e.g. MasterCard, CompuServe, PowerPoint.
I just like the fact it's also called BumpyCaps!
It says this.. an example of something incredibly logical being overlooked!
So, there ya go... it's been a very slow day and I'm a total word geek.

What I can't bear is when people do it inappropriately - someone at works keeps writing 'FreeLance'

I would still be an advocate for a space, or at least a hashtag, in that scenario.

Actually, that's not CamelCase, it's called Studly Caps... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Studly_capsThere is a name for absolutely everything. I wonder if there is a name for the fact that there is a name for absolutely everything.

I'll bid with "Omninomenclature" if there isn't, which sounds marvellous when you say it out loud.

Actually that is someone who leans about a lot of things. Not a word for a word for everything. Hahah.
AWordForEverything, is what I'm going with :-)

I think you've just made up a word that should go in the dictionary, that would absolutely be it. joebassdude, interesting you said Polymath there. I went to see them last night at the Fox and Newt, they were immense!

Omni = all Nomenclature = the devising or choosing of names for things, especially in a science or other discipline. Bang on.
