Corey Taylor says “The UK has always been very special for us. In a lot of ways, it’s where this insanity began. So, for this tour, we decided to try and hit as many places as we could – not only England, but Scotland and Wales as well. Technically Ireland is Europe, but we’re going there too. We’re coming back for the people who started this for us: that would be YOU. Prepare yourselves… Hell is coming.”

Slipknot I've only seen once, at Leeds Festival 2002, and they were mint, crazy show. Wasn't particularly into their last album, and their newest one sounds like a bit of a mish mash of occasionally great riffs and really lame, weak songs, will give it a full listen though at some point for sure.
I saw Korn a few times when they first started coming over. Saw them in the Cockpit in Leeds one time and there was about 100 people there, and that was the SECOND time they'd toured here (they supported Primus before that, went to Nottingham Rock City on that tour) Haven't been into them for a long time, but I did like them when they first came out, first two albums have some silly tunes on them.

As soon as I opened this I looked at the flyer, knowing I wouldn't see Leeds. Strange how we still get missed off. Not that I'll be going like, but you'd have thought we'd get included in large tours like this. We have two venues that would be up to the job now..
As for the bands; Slipknot were fucking awesome in their prime. Saw them about 2 or 3 times when I was a yoot. Incredible shows. I was at the Leeds Festival one as well. I reckon if they played THAT album in it's entirety I'd consider going.
Was never a massive Korn fan, but can't deny listening to them when I was younger.

Aye, first two 'official' Slipknot albums, cracking, loads of people weren't convinced by 'Iowa' but I think it's immense, heavy as chuff!! I love 'Mate feed kill repeat' though, well like Mr Bungle in places, silly album. I'd go if they played THAT album in full. Haha.

In all honesty I can't help but think that this tour is about 12 years too late.

Meh. Not worth travelling for.
Loved Korn in the 90s but the one time I saw them live (at the T&C) they were crap. Really boring to watch.

So was I, the one with Incubus as well? Yeah, that's the last time I saw them, went lame after that... I did go to the signing at HMV or Virgin in the day time cos a bunch of mates from college were off.
