This year I went trekking round the French Alps for a month on my own.
Started at Grenoble in south France and walked to Geneva in Switzerland. Took me over a year to plan and a fortnight to complete. Easily the best thing I've ever done. Second two weeks I was out I stayed mainly in the valley at the foot of the Mont Black Massive. Stayed in Chamonix a few nights, then went up towards the Swiss border then walked back to Chamonix. Camping and wild camping all along the valley.
It was such an incredible trip.
I turned 30 ( :-0 ) this year, and wanted to do something a little different for it. And the Hebrides has always been a place I've wanted to go. So me and the Mrs decided to go to the Isle of Arran for a week. Stunning place. So chilled and relaxing, but with plenty to do. We had things to do for each day we were there, and could have easily filled two weeks up.
