What cover songs do you love? I don't really see the point in bands / people doing covers that are almost identical to the others, I much prefer them making it sound like one of their own songs...
This thread is inspired by the fact that I just listened to this cover, which is absolutely inspired. A German screamo / grind band called Systral (who are amazing, and their 'Fever' EP that this is from is immense) doing a cover of Kylie Minogue's 'Confide In Me'!

Really can't resist posting this one, perhaps a more honest and realistic version than the original?

I suppose we can't discuss 'covers' without mentioning the inspired Fantomas 'Director's Cut' album, their re-workings of loads of film theme tunes in their own (crazy) style... Their version of 'The Omen' is mindblowing.

Rosemary's Baby from the Director's Cut album is definitely worth a mention. Such a creepy intro.

Does this count as a cover? Just came across this again. Daft parody grind core. Ultra vomit doing Reel 2 Real's I Like To Move It but obviously they like to vomit instead.
(There is no one vomiting in this video)

Good call. Therapy? did a bunch of good covers actually, their version of Isolation by Joy Division is brilliant too. Their Breaking The Law is grand too because it DOESN'T have Rob Halford on it!

Yeah Isolation is great. Also Where Eagles Dare, seen them numerous times they played that and it was awesome!
