Hi everyone, I'm Paul from Doncaster, found out about this forum when the boss man virtually threw me in here, liked the look of it though so hopefully will be a good place to have some interesting chats with people. I've been to uni in Leeds and visit the city from time to time, enjoyed a good few gigs and clubs there. I'm a big metal fan, likely always will be and am always on the lookout for decent new bands, Gene Simmons said recently rock is dead, I'm sure I'm not alone in profoundly disagreeing with him on that! I'll say more later, but hopefully will get to know some of you more soon  |

Gene Simmons seems to be saying a lot of nonsense, even moreso recently than ever before!!

Yeah, was pretty cool, just came for a bit of a change of scenery more than anything, had a meal, went up to the Fenton for a few beers then finished off in Santiago's, never been in there before, was fun. And yes, Gene Simmons seems to like to get his face in the press, usually by making crap come out of it. Got more annoyed by his comments about depression tbh, don't know if you heard that?

Ah yeah, after Robin Williams' death. That's when it really struck me that he is a total dick more than ever before. Fool!
Surprised you'd never been in Santiago's before actually, is a good place that. Still do love the Fenton after all these years too.
