Having a Melt Banana spree at the moment, 3 albums last night, onto 3rd album of the day today, probably gonna go through their whole discography.
Interesting that it follows the post about Khanate, reminds me of one of the best gigs I ever played. Reth supported Khanate and Melt Banana, that was a strange night to say the least!

Wished I'd have gone to that. I like all those bands a lot. I did drop off from MB around the time they put CellScape out, I thought it was OK but I liked that super-hyper cartoony sound on Charlie and Teeny Shiny so much and it wasn't quite the same for me.

Heh, they are pretty silly. Top chaps too.
Getting acquainted with Young Widows, been meaning to listen to them for a while, couple albums listened to. 'In and out of youth and lightness' reminds me massively of Girls Against Boys, which suits me fine.

Had a right varied time of it in the last couple days. electronic = Orbital, Astral Projection, LFO black metal = Enslaved (listening to 'Frost' currently), Medico Peste, Morowe, The Last Knell death metal = Wormed, Necroexophilia, new Cannibal Corpse noise rock = Shellac, Karp chilled out = Rachels, Loudon Wainwright III, Elliott Smith
been going through all my music folders and deleting tons of stuff am not so bothered about and on a proper 'find new stuff' kick, Youtube side bar was handy for that yesterday, and turns out Spotify is getting even better at recommending obscure stuff. Downloaded loads of stuff from Bandcamp at the weekend as well which am gonna go through. Time to mix things up even more.

You can make one up, I hate giving marks on my reviews. Having to do that on CDs I review for Leeds Music Scene site. If I can't say in a review whether it's good or not, then I fail as a reviewer.

Train and bus riding across the area
Trap Them - Blissfuckers - I haven't been able to get into it.. the vocals sound a bit tired. But I loved this track, it's crackin! Red Chord drummer laying it the hell down.
Jonwayne - Rap Album One - strong new hiphop, love it. Gold Panda - Half Of Where You Live - hip lightweight fun-ish electronica.
