Simple premise. Never ending.
I pick two films (can be TV series / docs / animations as well), the next person picks their favourite (maybe a little reason why), then they pick two more to choose from.
Okay, Seven vs Usual Suspects. GO!

Seven. "What's in the box?" Everything is so intense.
Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz?

Initially I'd expect myself to say Shaun of the Dead, but actually, after previous re-watches of them, I'm going for Hot Fuzz now.. 'For the greater good' and all that.

Ren & Stimpy or South Park

Post by Mr42 on Sept 14, 2014 21:38:38 GMT
That's actually a tough one to be honest.. Ren & Stimpy is completely ridiculous, brutal for no reason and totally surreal, and South Park is ridiculous and brutal but to the point and hilarious. ARGH!
I'll say South Park, just because they've managed to defy pretty much every censor for so many years, and discriminate against nobody imparticular, everyone is fair game.

The Hunger Games. Passes the Bechdel Test and it's dystopia so I'm excited about the trilogy.

The Wicker Man...
I rewatched some of Withnail and I again recently, and, it was just way too dated to get into. I'll give it another go, because I remember it being mint, but it was really off putting. Wickerman is timeless and just brilliant.

Never seen, or even heard of District 13. Should I watch it? Is it a sequel to D9, or an entirely different movie with a similar name?
